This site is built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA as a working target, and we want to hear about anything that falls short.

How this site was built

Accessibility was designed in rather than added afterwards. Specifically:

  • Every text and background colour pair on this site was measured against WCAG contrast ratios, and combinations that failed were removed from the palette rather than used carefully
  • Headings follow a strict order so screen reader navigation works
  • All interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology
  • Motion respects the reduced-motion preference set in your operating system
  • The site renders correctly in both light and dark themes
