The mixed environment is normal now
Very few businesses are purely one platform. Design, marketing and leadership often run Mac; finance and line-of-business software often run Windows. Both should be managed to the same standard, and the friction usually comes from an IT provider treating one of them as an exception.
The ownership problem
A Mac bought at a store and set up with an employee's personal Apple ID is, in practice, that employee's device holding company data. Apple Business Manager and proper enrolment fix this — but it is far easier to do at purchase than to unpick later.

Do you support Macs as well as Windows?
Yes, and to the same standard — managed, encrypted, patched and monitored. Apple support has been part of what we do for years rather than something we added recently.
Are Macs more secure?
Less targeted historically, but the main attack today is phishing, which does not care what operating system you use. An unmanaged Mac is also unmonitored and often unencrypted, which offsets a good deal of the platform advantage.
Can Macs work with our Windows servers and Microsoft 365?
Yes. File shares, printing, Microsoft 365, and single sign-on all work well when configured deliberately. Most complaints about Macs in business trace back to configuration nobody did rather than to the platform.
